St. Paul’s Got Talent!

Our children have been practising hard for our very own St. Paul’s Got Talent competition. Heats have been held in class and we will soon be holding semi finals and finals in front of the whole school. Parents will be able to come and see the most popular acts take part in our Summer Concert on 18 July.

We are also looking forward to Sports Day on 11 July . I just hope that the weather improves!

Welcome Back!

Welcome back after the Easter break – I hope that you all had a good holiday despite the weather!  This will be a busy term with Parents’ evenings next week and SATs tests for Years 2 and 6 in May.  Fortunately we should all be able to relax later in the term with celebrations for the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee and The Olympics before we say good bye to our Year 6 pupils as they move on to High School. I do hope that they make the most of their last term at St. Paul’s; working hard in their tests to show what excellent work they are capable of and enjoying the opportunity to relax and have some fun afterwards.

LLedr Hall

Just returned from a fantastic week at Lledr Hall. Unbelievable weather, delicious food and execllent company.  Yet again our children amazed me with their ability to work together cooperatively and their willingness to have a go at new experiences, be it trying vegetable soup for the first time or gorge walking. Well done all of you!

Thank you so much to the staff who gave up their time to accompany the children – I hope that seeing the children grow and develop in front of your eyes makes it all worthwhile!

Welcome

Welcome to  the St Paul’s Primary School blog site. Our assembly theme this half term is Good to be Me !  We will be thinking about what makes each of us special and celebrating all our individual skills and qualities.

I know that some of you are good at reading, some at maths, some at art, some at P.E.  Some children are particularly good at helping others or sharing with their friends. We are all good at something! Write and tell me what  you are good it.
